Now there is a wave of food wacks operating across the country. Similarly, a food bank has also been set up in Rampur of Palpa. Food Bank has been established in coordination with Lions Club of Rampur in collaboration with Rampur Youth Club, CJ Nepal, Youth Union Materi, Islamic Active Youth Society and Bhambak United Youth club.
Purushottam KC, coordinator of the Food Bank Campaign and chairman of the Lions Club Rampur, said that food banks have been set up in different tolls of Ward Nos. 4 and 5 of Rampur Municipality with the objective of “let those who can give, take those who can’t”.
Bishnu Poudel of the Lions Club said that the food bank has been set up targeting those who have problems in running the diary. The mobile food bank will run for two hours daily in the evening.
