The house of Lekh Bahadur B.K is Tansen municipality ward no. 11 of Palpa district. 11 is in a place called Juqiya.
In his birthplace, Lekh Bahadur has started Karuva Udyog under the name of Palpali branded Karuva Udyog.
This industry has only been open for three years.
The fame earned by the industry in just three years is very much.
Lekh Bahadur is only 40 years old.
There is a son, a daughter and a wife in the family.
Parents did not know that they should teach their children because they only did housework.
Due to which he could not study more than four classes.
Although he is not literate, he has the habit of teaching his children according to their wishes.
Since Lekh Bahadur was fourteen years old, he has worked in the wheat industry in Taksar, Tansen.
He worked there as Kaligarh for about 20 years.
Now he has started the industry by himself.
Palpa is a district that has earned a lot of fame for Karuva and Dhaka.
That’s why he opened a millet industry thinking that something can be done in Palpa, he said in our conversation.
He currently makes karua according to the order.
The smallest one is 3,000 to the largest one is 15,000 and is being made and sold.
He also believes that Palpali Karuva is in crisis.
He said in the conversation with us that the new generation is not interested in doing this work and the government has not brought any plans to save the industry.
Apart from that, he said that there is a problem because machines made in other places are also selling Palpali karua as Palpali karua.
Lekh Bahadur has no problem to make Karua.
He said that because he has lived in Kaligarh for such a long time, he is perfect for making sorghum, but there are financial and market problems to start the sorghum industry.
The technology for making sorghum is the same, but the bamboo used to make sorghum is very expensive, due to which he is not able to produce as much as he thought.
Lekh Bahadur wants to transfer his skills to others, but no one is ready to learn the skills.
He believes that if he can teach others the skills he has learned over 20 years, he can create jobs in his own place. Lekh Bahadur, who insists that something should be done in his own place, needs help to run the millet industry.
He said that his door is always open if anyone wants to be a helper.
We can also learn a lot from the life of Lekh Bahadur who was determined to do something in his own place.
