Two people have been killed and 10 others injured in a jeep accident in Baitadi district.

The deceased have been identified as Ram Singh Dhami, 64, and Mansingh Saud, 45, of Sigas Gaonpalika-3. Ten others have been injured in the accident.

Four persons have been seriously injured while the condition of six others is normal. The injured have been identified as Jay Singh Dhami, 45, of Sigas-3, Yogendra Dhami, 18, Laxman Dhami, 13, and Gaumati Saud, 40.

The injured have been identified as Karan Singh Dhami, 29, of Sigas-3, Dalbir Saud, 45, Chakra Dhami, 40, Bashumati Dhami, 38, Khagendra Saud, 19, and Haribham Saud, 44.

Preparations are underway to send the injured to Dadeldhura Hospital. The jeep has fallen 50 meters from the road.
