A no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Dormani Poudel has been tabled in the meeting of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly.

State Assemblymember and Dahal-Nepal CPN (Maoist) leader Arun Prasad Nepal has filed a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Poudel.

Proposing a no-confidence motion against Poudel, he has proposed state assembly member Ashtalakshmi Shakya for the post of the chief minister.

State Assemblymember Arun Prasad Nepal has moved a no-confidence motion and the state assembly meeting scheduled for Friday has been postponed.

Speaker Sanukumar Shrestha informed that the discussion on the no-confidence motion will be held in the state assembly meeting on January 4.

The meeting has been adjourned till 2 pm on January 4.
