Lalitpur: In Gandaki, both the CPN (Maoist) groups are expanding their organizations. Both groups are conducting training in the district. The CPN-Oli group is strong in the Gandaki state government. Gandaki Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung and five other ministers are in the Oli group.

Minister for Economic Affairs Kiran Gurung, Minister for Tourism Vikas Lamsal, Minister for Social Development Naradevi Pun, and Minister for Physical Infrastructure Ram Sharan Basnet is in the group.
Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Hari Bahadur Chuman and Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives Lekh Bahadur Thapa Magar are in the Prachanda-Nepal group.
The group includes Parbat Chairman Padam Giri, Syangja Chairman Surya Prasad Gaire, Tanahu Chairman Kedar Sigdel, and former Nawalparasi Chairman Roshan Bahadur Gaha. Similarly, Gorkha president Lekh Bahadur Magar, Baglung president Indralal Sapkota and secretary Jyam Nath Gaire, former Nawalparasi secretary Mitra Sharan Sharma, Tanahun secretary Rajendra Keshari Neupane and Syangja secretary Min Bahadur Gurung are in the Prachanda-Nepal group.
Similarly, Central Member Khagraj Adhikari, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Padmakumari Aryal, Jagat Bahadur Bishwakarma, Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City Man Bahadur GC, Vidya Bhattarai, former CA member Sita Giri and Ganesh Timilsina Oli of Parbat are in the group. Similarly, Prem Bahadur Tulachan and Narayan Marasini of Syangja have also joined the Oli group.
Narayan Kaji Shrestha of Gorkha, Gandaki state president Hitraj Pandey, standing committee member Dev Gurung, standing committee member Debendra Poudel of Baglung, Gandaki state co-in charge Yasoda Subedi Gurung, Shrimaya Thakali of Mustang, Srinath Baral of Kaski, Tul Bahadur Gurung and Sharda Prasad Subedi. Chintamani is in the wild Prachanda-Nepal group.
Similarly, the central members are Pratap Lal Shrestha of Tanahun, Vidya Dhakal, Rekha Basyal, Bishweshwar Kattel of Gorkha, Vikal Shrestha, Khimlal Devkota, Rabindra Adhikari of Nawalparasi, Krishna Poudel, Kishan Sharma Gaire, Moti Poudel of Parbat, Uday Subedi, Bhakt Kunwar, Ganesh Sharma Poudel Prachanda. Nepal is in the group.
Central members PL Shrestha, Asha Koirala, Central Accounts Commission member Vidya Dhakal, Shankar Narayan Shrestha, member of the dissolved House of Representatives Kalila Khan, and other leaders are also in the Prachanda-Nepal group.
In Baglung district, the district in-charge Balawati Sharma is in the Prachanda-Nepal group and co-in-charge Man Kumari KC is in the Oli group. District Chairman Indralal Sapkota, Secretary Gyamanath Gaire, office members Lal Bahadur Thapa, Bishnu Bhusal, Famlal Newrey, Chandra Budha are in the Prachanda-Nepal group and another office member Krishna Pathak is in the Oli group. Til Bahadur Mahat Chhetri, elected from Nawalpur Constituency No. 2, Roshan Bahadur Gaha, Janaklal Shrestha and Laxmi Sunar Oli are in the group.
Kawasaki Municipality Mayor Chandra Kumari Pun and Deputy Mayor Prem Shankar Mardania and Devachuli Municipality Deputy Mayor Parvata Tiwari and Hupsekot Village Vice President Swatantra Kopila Malla are in the Oli group. Mayor of Gaindakot Municipality of Nawalpur Chhatra Raj Poudel is in the CPN-Prachanda-Nepal group. Young leader Bishnu Bhusal, who is interested in Madhav Nepal, has been moving towards Oli lately.
