Tuesday A nationwide lockdown has been announced in the UK as coronavirus (Covid-19) infections continue
to rise. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced a lockdown until mid-February to prevent further spread
of the infection. Prime Minister Johnson has urged citizens not to leave their homes as much as possible. As
soon as the lockdown is implemented, no one will be allowed to go out of the house from Tuesday. Prime
Minister Johnson has said he will begin vaccinating the top four groups against corona from the middle of next
month. According to him, the first dose of the vaccine will be given to the people in the care center, the elderly
over 70 years of age, the leading employees in the social and health sectors and the people considered at risk.
So far, more than 2.7 million coronavirus infections have been confirmed in the UK and 75,000 people have
died.
