The Tansen-Ranimahal road, which was closed for maintenance, has been put into operation. The road leading to Ranimahal, the main tourist spot of Palpa, has been fully opened since Tuesday.
Basudev Bhandari, Head of Road Infrastructure Development Office Palpa, said that the road infrastructure development office Palpa was closed for 48 days from January 17th to Sunday for slope work in Batake Baikunthe Bhir from Palpa district headquarters Tansen to Ranimahal. As the vehicles going to Ranimahal were completely blocked for 24 hours, they had to use an alternative route.
After the closure of the Ranimahal road, which was 15 km away, I had to travel 40 km to reach Ranimahal via Tansen-Harthok-Argli. According to the Tansen Municipality, more than 500 passengers visit the tourist site Ranimahal daily.
