Lalitpur: Chairman of the Prachanda-Madhav faction of the CPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has claimed that the CPN (Maoist) and the Sun symbol will be theirs.

Addressing a large training meeting held in Pokhara, Kaski on Tuesday, Chairman Prachanda made such a claim.

“Write that the CPN is ours, the sun is ours.” If not, there will be a storm, ”Prachanda told the cadres during his address.

He said that the CPN (Maoist) leaders, including himself, reached the commission only on Monday and said that they were confident that the CPN (Maoist) and the Sun symbol would belong to them as per the constitution and legislation.

Stating that about 70 percent of the central members were in his favor, he said that he had gone to the Election Commission only yesterday to talk about the situation of the party and after that, he was confident that the Election Commission would finally make a fair decision.

Prachanda accused KP Oli of never accepting the agreement reached in the political report.
