Prem Kumar Rai has been recommended as the Chief Commissioner of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority. Rai’s name was recommended at a meeting of the Constitutional Council on December 15. The government had issued an ordinance on the Constitutional Council on January 13. Immediately after the meeting on the 30th, the decision was taken. Rai retired from the post about a year ago.
