In Malaysia, he worked in a company that produced plastic goods in a place called Johor Waru. He did not get the same job in Malaysia as he did in Nepal, but he spent three years there.
Ever since he was in Malaysia, he wanted to do something in his own place. After returning home, he opened a fancy shop in Itahari with some money he had saved and a loan. The shop could not run as expected. Debt was added to the debt. After running a fancy shop for a while, he quit and stayed at home
Pradeep’s maternal uncles had Ashtamandal Metal Industry, which made brass, copper and brass vessels in Koteshwar, Kathmandu.
After finding out that Bhanja had a loss in his business, the uncles took Bhanja to Kathmandu. At first, Pradeep also felt that he should go or not, but after being given the responsibility of marketing the industry, he decided to go to Kathmandu.
After reaching Kathmandu, Pradeep started working in his uncle’s industry. After that, he finally got the knowledge of how to do business, and he also found out what caused the loss when he started doing business. Pradeep’s uncles gave Pradeep the knowledge that he has a good-humored nature, does not get angry with anyone, and can do what he wants to do with a smile. Pradeep also started working according to his uncles. Now Pradeep is in charge of all the marketing of the industry.
Pradeep, who has gained the knowledge that goods are not only produced in the market, but can be sold through bids, now goes to market his goods at fairs and festivals held in different parts of the country. Pradeep has now started sending goods to foreign countries as well.
In Ashtamandal metal industry, especially brass vessels are made. Apart from this, iron and copper iron and copper are also closed from the industry.
Pradeep, who used to suffer losses while doing business, has now succeeded in making the industry very profitable.
He has learned that he should be humorous and cheerful when he started marketing. Pradeep now has the confidence that if he produces a product himself, he can sell it.
Pradeep, who has become the father of a son and a daughter, lives in Itahari while he works in marketing in Kathmandu. Currently five people are working regularly in the industry and Pradeep is working on marketing it.
Pradeep said during the conversation that bamboo products are not used that much in Nepal, but there is a great demand for them abroad. We have not been able to convince many people about the use of brass pots. He said that there is a need to educate more people about the benefits of cooking in copper utensils or eating in copper utensils. He says that there will be more problems in the market if we have to compete with plastic. Pradeep believes that the government should give priority to local products, but it is not doing so, and if the situation continues, local products may be closed.
