Lalitpur: The microblogging social site Twitter has closed the account of US President Donald Trump indefinitely.

According to local time on Friday, the official Twitter handle of Trump, Real Donald Trump, was suspended indefinitely.

Protesters stormed a rally in the US Senate on Wednesday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.

Following the incident, Twitter took a tough line against Trump.

Twitter immediately deleted some tweets and locked the account for 12 hours. At the same time, Twitter had warned that

the account would be closed forever if there were tweets that incited violence. Facebook has also blocked Trump’s account

page for two weeks
