Preparations for the first NRNA Festival and NRNA Cup football tournament to be held by NRNA UK on the 3rd of August in London Feltham have been extensive.

NRNA UK President Prem Gahamgar said that preparations are being made to hold the 9A side NRNA Cup competition and the same day to promote and promote Nepali art, culture, tradition, costumes and food, with the aim of highlighting the talent of Nepali youth in the UK and sports for health.

“When the distance between the first and second generation in the Nepali diaspora in Britain is increasing, we have tried to bring both generations to the same ground”, Gahamgar said – “If our art, culture, language, costumes, lifestyle are not transferred to the second generation, we are worried that their relationship with the motherland will be broken.” There is an obligation to do such events together.’

Chairman Gahamgar said that this program is not meant to compete with anyone and appealed to everyone to participate.

NRNA UK said that the special guests participating in the program will be welcomed with Naumati panche baja and back piper tunes and will be given food, batch and token of love.

The association is also holding a press conference at Thamel Dohri Restaurant, Aldershot on 28th July to give formal information about this. On the same day, a team draw slot is held between mediapersons and team captains/managers.
