The Gulmeli gathering of Britain is going to be held in the first week of August.

Gulmeli singer Sushila Gautam and singer Deepak Gharti are going to perform at the fair.

Gulmi District Society UK will hold its 16th annual meeting on Sunday 4th August at Tudor Park Sports and Leisure grounds in Feltham, London.
The performance of Pratham Naumati Baja Gulmi UK group along with various original Gulmeli cultural programs will be additional attractions of the gathering.
Mahalal Ghimire, general secretary of the society, informed that all the local municipality heads of Gulmi district have been invited for the first time this year. He said that invitations have been sent to the heads of 10 rural villages and two municipalities and the chairman of the district coordination committee of Gulmi.
Manju Bhandari Kharel, the coordinator of the meeting and the vice president of the society, informed that the preparations for the program are underway.
In the event, the first Gulmeli welcome song will also be released, reflecting the sentiments of Gulmeli people scattered around the world.
Musical performances by national artists and dance songs from Gulmeli Jhayaure, Thako Bhaka to Bhajan and Teej Geet are performed in the gathering.
Various commercial stalls will also be placed at the venue. Similarly, there will be entertainment for children including a bouncy castle.
Apart from London and surrounding areas, hundreds of people come from Midland, Wales, Scotland to participate in the event.
Rudra Thapa, president of the society, said that although it was organized by the Gulmi district society, they were eager to welcome all the Nepalis living in the UK to the meeting.
“This is not only an annual meeting of us Gulmeli people who are scattered in different parts of the UK, but we want it to be an opportunity for other Nepalis here to have a pleasant gathering”, says President Thapa.
