The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced that the U-16 League will be held from July 15. ANFA, in consultation with the representatives of ‘A’ Division clubs, finalized the date for the U-16 League. Previously, ANFA had planned to start the U-16 League from July 8. However, due to the ongoing examinations in most schools, ANFA rescheduled the league and announced it to start from July 15.
For the U-16 League, clubs will have to register their teams by June 27. After that, clubs will have to register the names of players by July 9. Then, ANFA will publish the fixture list on July 10. ANFA has also made three lakh rupees available to participating clubs for the preparation of the U-16 League. Keeping the players’ studies in mind, the matches of the U-16 League will be played on Fridays, Saturdays, or public holidays.
