Khim Bahadur Pun Magar of Baglung, who arrived in Malaysia for employment is returning to Nepal empty-handed after 18 years.
The search for him began after he fell ill while working for a Stan Force security company in Malaysia.
After photos and videos of her condition went viral on social media, people from all over joined her to help.
He could not even speak and at that time he could only say that his house was in Nisikhola village of Baglung district.
Roshan Bishwakarma from Baglung started searching for his relatives in Nepal about his condition. While searching for the family at that time, it was learned that was from Pandavakhani village municipality ward no. 3 and now Galkot municipality ward no. 10 Sormane villages.
Bishnu Gautam, a journalist working in Malaysia, Trilochan Gautam, Bikas Kaushal, and Purna Limbu was involved in his first rescue. He was taken to Selayang Hospital by Bikas Kaushal. Roshan Bishwakarma from Nepal was looking for relatives and brought the family in touch with Khem.
His health has improved a lot since the Nepali embassy started monitoring and assisting her in the hospital. He is returning to Nepal today on the special initiative of the embassy. Her sisters living abroad had arranged for her air ticket to return to Nepal from Malaysia.
