In Gandaki, 140 new corona infections have been reported today and four people have died.

The deceased have been identified as 83-year-old woman of Pokhara Metropolitan City-9, 75-year-old woman of Ward No. 17, 60-year-old woman of Ward No. 28 and 71-year-old man of Beshishahar Municipality-5 of Lamjung, according to the Gandaki Provincial Health Directorate.

Meanwhile, the number of deaths due to corona infection in Gandaki has reached 131. The highest number of infected people are 77 from Kaski, 22 from Nawalparasi East, 11 from Baglung, 10 from Gorkha, nine from Tanahun, five from Syangja, three from Lamjung, two from Mustang and one from Parbat.

The number of corona cases in the state has reached 10,688, said Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, director of the Gandaki State Health Directorate and spokesperson of the Gandaki State Corona Control and Prevention Program.
