Nepali worker Lokendra Bahadur Budha, who was lying paralyzed on a street box in front of the (YY48) hotel located in Kotaraya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was rescued by the Nepali Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and brought back home.

He was brought back home on the 6th of August by Himalaya Airlines flight.
According to Bikki Officer, Public Relations Co-Officer of the Nepalese Embassy, ​​who was directly involved in the rescue of Lokendra, on August 1st, the staff of YY48 Hotel called the hotline number of the Embassy and informed that he had been sleeping in a bad smelling bed in a Nepalese hotel for a few days.

 

After receiving the information that a Nepali was in such a condition, Bikki Adhikari, Public Relations Officer immediately reached the spot and rescued Lokendra, who was drowning in the stench of his own excrement, with his paralyzed body.

After the rescue, when the embassy contacted Lokendra’s family, they informed that he had not been in contact for 6/7 months. “Because of not being in contact for so long, something unpleasant happened to my father!” Expressing the suspicion expressed by his son, the Public Relations Officer of the Nepali Embassy said, – On the request of his family, Lokendra has been returned to his country by providing all the support including immigration fees and air tickets.
